Small Groups are the best place to connect at Oaklands if you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus. Our Small Groups are designed to help you develop significant relationships with others who can encourage and challenge you to consistently apply the truths of God’s Word to each area of your life.
Small Groups are not “another thing” at Oaklands; they are the main channel for discipleship and care for each person who is a part of the Oaklands family.
God wants every follower of Jesus to be continually growing as we worship Christ, walk with Christ, and work for Christ. Each Oaklands Small Group is committed to both Mutual Ministry and Multiplication.
Mutual Ministry: Each member of the group is looking for ways to minister to the other members of the group. All groups should also be prayerfully considering a way to extend the ministry of their Small Group through.
Multiplication: Eventually forming two or more groups so that others who are not yet in Small Groups can continue to find places to connect with a Small Group.
Here at Oaklands Bible Chapel, we are not committed to building a quantity of disciples – but rather we seek to build a quality of discipleship. The context for building quality disciples is Small Groups.
We strongly recommend that you attend Party With The Pastors and take the our Essentials Classes prior to deciding to connect and join up in a small group. These events are designed to touch on the elements of Oaklands Bible Chapel, such as our foundations, our statement of faith, church structure, theological distinctives among other things at Oaklands Bible Chapel.
To find out when the next Party With The Pastors and Essentials Classes are scheduled please see our events page.
